Some stuff you should know about Mexico.

  • Speed "limits"
Even tho there’s speed limits signs, they are just for decorations, because nobody really follow them. But we like to respect the speed limits (Some riders they just don’t care, but it can be dangerous).
    So here’s the speed limits
If you don’t see any speed limit sign then the speed limit is
    - School Zone 25 Km/hr (15MPH)
    - City 60 Km/hr (37-40MPH )
    - Rural road 60 Km/hr (37-40MPH) *be careful with livestock they like to be on the road, this includes Dogs, cows, horses and people.
    - State federal Road 80 Km/hr (50MPH) varies you can go faster.
    - Highway (this is the one you will be on all the time) 110 Km/hr (68MPH)  you can go 75-80MPH no problem.
At the end you can follow some of the Mexican riders and have the feeling for the speed they are doing. Remember this is NOT A RACE.
